The Shure QX5 QT-AD10 AquaMic is a fully submersible wireless bodypack transmitter designed for demanding environments in film, reality television, and sports broadcasting. Engineered in collaboration with Shure, this transmitter is compatible exclusively with Axient Digital receivers, ensuring superior digital audio transmission with advanced encryption and spectrum efficiency.
Housed in an IP68-rated aluminum casing, the AquaMic is impervious to dust and can be submerged up to 100 feet (30 meters), making it ideal for aquatic and rugged conditions. The transmitter operates remotely via the QX5's Remote Control Audio System (RCAS) using the MicCommander module, eliminating the need for on-unit controls and enhancing its waterproof integrity.
Equipped with a 6-pin LEMO connector, it accommodates a compatible waterproof lavalier microphone (sold separately). The internal lithium-ion rechargeable battery provides up to 8 hours of operation at the 10mW RF output setting. The AquaMic is fully washable and easily sanitized, ensuring hygiene and durability for repeated use in various challenging environments.
