Product Overview
The QSC Core 510i is the most I/O-flexible processor in the Q-SYS Core portfolio, designed for large-scale, complex commercial AV installations. Rather than fixed analog connectivity, it offers eight open Q-SYS Type-II I/O card slots that accept any combination of analog, digital, and networked audio bridge cards — letting integrators tailor connectivity to the project from a single chassis. With 256x256 networked audio channels, deep AEC capacity, and extensive Dante support, the Core 510i serves as either a full AV&C processor or a high-density I/O frame within a larger Q-SYS system. This listing is the Core 510i Kit.
Product Description

The Core 510i delivers 256x256 Q-LAN/AES67 networked audio channels, 64 channels of acoustic echo cancellation, up to 128x128 Dante audio channels (8x8 included), support for 14 Q-SYS NM-T1 beamforming microphones, and 16x16 GPIO. Its eight Type-II card slots accept any mix of Q-SYS I/O cards for up to 128x128 local channels, making it the preferred choice where diverse analog, digital, and networked connectivity must converge in one processor. The Core 510i operates in two modes: in Q-SYS Core Mode it functions as a complete AV&C processor handling audio, video, control, AEC, VoIP, and USB bridging while supporting onboard I/O via installed cards; in I/O Frame Mode it integrates up to 128x128 audio channels into the Q-SYS network for processing on a separate Core — useful for large, distributed designs. Like every Core, it runs Q-SYS Designer Software, preserving design files and programming as systems scale. For smaller rooms that still need analog I/O, the Core 8 Flex is a compact alternative.

Frequently Asked Questions
What makes the Core 510i different from other Q-SYS Cores?
It offers the most flexible I/O of any Core — eight open Type-II card slots that accept any combination of analog, digital, and networked audio cards, for up to 128x128 local channels.
What is the difference between Core Mode and I/O Frame Mode?
In Core Mode it acts as a complete AV&C processor; in I/O Frame Mode it contributes up to 128x128 audio channels to the network for processing on a separate Core.
How many beamforming microphones does it support?
Up to 14 Q-SYS NM-T1 beamforming microphones.
Does the kit include I/O cards?
Configurations vary; confirm included cards and accessories with Creation Networks support before ordering, as the Core 510i’s card slots are populated to suit each project.
