The Sharp P495-IR is a 49-inch Wide Color Gamut 4K UHD professional display with pre-installed infrared (IR) touch, designed for interactive digital signage, corporate presentations, and retail point-of-sale applications where large-format touch interaction and vivid color reproduction are required. Product Description
The P495-IR uses a U-IPS panel at 3840x2160 resolution with a 0.28mm pixel pitch (89 ppi) and edge-lit LED backlighting at 700 cd/m2. The 8000:1 contrast ratio (with local dimming) and 178-degree viewing angles provide excellent image quality across a wide range of commercial environments. The pre-installed IR touch overlay supports 10-point simultaneous touch input for interactive applications. SpectraView Engine provides hardware-level color calibration including gamma adjustment from 0.5 to 4.0, color temperature range from 3000K to 15000K, and support for sRGB, Rec.1886, HDR-HLG, HDR-PQ (ST2084), DICOM, and programmable modes. An open Intel SDM slot (Small and Large) accepts optional compute modules, and Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 support enables the MPi4E integrated media player. HDMI 2.0 and DisplayPort 1.4 loopout support daisy-chain configurations. Failover input detect automatically switches to a backup source if the primary signal fails. The display is Cisco Certified and carries Energy Star 8.0 certification.
