The Marantz Professional AVS is a self-contained desktop broadcasting system that combines a Full HD webcam, USB condenser boundary microphone, dimmable LED light ring, internal USB hub, and headphone amplifier into a single freestanding unit. The AVS positions itself as a complete broadcast streaming system for creators who need reliable, consistent output without managing multiple devices. The Full HD webcam uses a CMOS sensor with a 70-degree diagonal field of view, records at up to 1920x1080 at 30fps with H.264 compression, and includes automatic low-light correction and white balance. It operates in USB Video Device Class (UVC) mode, making it plug-and-play compatible with Windows XP through 10, Mac OS X, Linux, and Android without driver installation.

The boundary microphone is integrated into the base of the unit, using a back-electret condenser element in a half-cardioid polar pattern. It captures audio at up to 48kHz/16-bit with a frequency response of 150Hz–10kHz and a signal-to-noise ratio above 60dB. The LED light ring runs 30 wide-angle white LEDs at 5600K daylight balance and includes three swappable color filter accessories — diffused daylight, cool, and warm — for adjusting the on-camera look without additional lighting. The headphone amplifier provides 130mW of output power through a 3.5mm stereo jack and includes a mix control to blend microphone audio with USB audio playback. A fixed line-level auxiliary output on a 3.5mm TRS jack is also available for routing mic audio to an external device.
