Product Overview

The Draper Ultimate Access E is a ceiling-recessed, free-hanging motorized projection screen with an independently motorized ceiling closure door that fully conceals the screen when it is retracted. This 7' NTSC (4:3) model suits mid-sized boardrooms, training rooms, and higher-education spaces that need a clean, fastener-free ceiling line. As a ceiling-recessed projection screen with a closure door, it hides completely inside the ceiling and drops a flat, free-hanging viewing surface for presentation and video. This unit ships with Draper's standard motor and a 110V three-position switch. All units ship through Creation Networks at authorized-dealer pricing with Draper's 5-year warranty.

Product Description

The Draper Ultimate Access E ceiling-recessed projection screen is a Series E, free-hanging (non-tensioned) electric screen built for permanent commercial installations where full concealment matters. Unlike a tab-tensioned Series V screen, the Ultimate Access E uses a free-hanging surface that is held flat by the weight of the fabric and a bottom dowel, which keeps the assembly simple and cost-effective for 4:3 video and data content. The case recesses into the ceiling and includes a motorized closure door: an independently motorized ceiling closure panel that opens into the case so the screen disappears behind a finished ceiling line with no visible fasteners. That closure panel can be finished by the contractor to match the surrounding ceiling. The bottom access panel is detachable or hangs on a 'T' bracket for straightforward service, and a quick-connect wiring system lets the case be roughed in early during construction with the screen added later to prevent job-site damage. A 110V three-position switch is standard, with quiet low-voltage motors and 220V options available, and low-voltage or video-interface controls can be integrated for below-ceiling access. This makes the Ultimate Access E well suited to boardrooms, conference rooms, training rooms, and multi-purpose rooms that require a concealed screen. Pair it with a compatible unit from our commercial projectors collection and a bracket from our projector mounts and lifts collection to complete the system. Key Features

  • Independently motorized closure door — A separately motorized ceiling closure panel opens into the case so the screen is fully concealed behind a finished ceiling line.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Ultimate Access E tab-tensioned?

No. The Ultimate Access E is a Series E, free-hanging (non-tensioned) screen. The surface hangs flat under fabric weight and a bottom dowel. If you need a tab-tensioned surface, the Series V Ultimate Access V is the tensioned equivalent.

What is the motorized closure door?

The Ultimate Access E includes an independently motorized ceiling closure panel that opens into the case. It conceals the screen behind a finished ceiling line with no visible fasteners and can be finished by the contractor to match the ceiling.

What motor and controls does this unit use?

This configuration uses Draper's standard motor with a 110V three-position switch. Quiet low-voltage motors, 220V, and low-voltage control options are available if you need quieter operation or control-system integration.

Can the case be installed before the screen?

Yes. The quick-connect wiring system lets contractors mount and wire the case early during construction, then add the screen later to protect it from job-site damage.

How is the screen serviced after installation?

The bottom access panel is detachable or hangs on a 'T' bracket, allowing motor and fabric service from below the ceiling without removing the entire case.

What projectors and mounts pair with the Ultimate Access E?

It works with any commercial front projector matched to its 4:3 format and your room's throw distance. Browse our commercial projectors and projector mounts and lifts, or contact us for a throw-distance calculation.

What warranty and support are included?

The Ultimate Access E carries Draper's 5-year manufacturer warranty, supplied through Creation Networks as an authorized dealer. Contact us at creationnetworks.net for pre-sale specification help and post-sale support.
