Product Overview

The Draper Premier with ClearSound NanoPerf XT1000V surface is a motorized, ceiling-recessed tab-tensioned projection screen designed for commercial AV installations requiring acoustically transparent performance in a lower-profile ceiling housing. The ClearSound NanoPerf XT1000V allows audio from speakers placed behind the screen to pass through without audible loss—enabling a true speaker-behind-screen configuration where center channel audio emanates from the image plane. With a 1.0 gain, this surface delivers reference-standard image quality identical to the Matt White XT1000VB while adding full acoustic transparency. The Premier housing's lower profile makes it suitable for installations with limited above-ceiling plenum depth.

Product Description

Draper Premier Motorized Ceiling-Recessed 16:10 ClearSound NanoPerf XT1000V Acoustically Transparent Screen

ClearSound NanoPerf XT1000V uses Draper's micro-perforation process to create a consistent pattern of precisely sized perforations across the screen surface. The perforations are sized to allow high-frequency audio to pass freely while having a negligible visual impact on the projected image at normal viewing distances. The 1.0 gain surface maintains full reference-white brightness, making it the highest-performance acoustically transparent surface in the Premier lineup for critical AV applications.

The Premier housing provides full ceiling recessing for complete screen concealment when retracted. Draper's case-now, screen-later installation method allows the housing to be installed during rough-in construction before ceilings are closed. The screen assembly snaps into preset latching brackets when the space is ready for AV commissioning. The RF-welded tab-tensioning system maintains a flat image plane, with tabs warranted for five years against separation.
