Product Overview
The Draper Premier with Matt White XT1000VB surface is a motorized, ceiling-recessed tab-tensioned projection screen designed for commercial AV installations requiring full ceiling concealment in a lower-profile housing. The Matt White XT1000VB is Draper's standard reference white surface with a 1.0 gain—delivering accurate, neutral brightness across a wide viewing angle—making it the most broadly applicable surface in the Premier lineup. The Premier housing's lower profile makes it suitable for installations with limited plenum depth. The plenum-rated, UL-Listed housing fits standard above-ceiling construction without additional enclosures.
Product Description

The Matt White XT1000VB surface delivers a 1.0 gain with wide-angle, spectrally neutral reflectivity, making it the default choice for commercial AV installers specifying a Premier without a specialized ambient light, contrast, or acoustic transparency requirement. The surface works well with a broad range of commercial projectors across the throw distances and lumen ratings typical in corporate environments.
The Premier housing provides full ceiling recessing for complete screen concealment when retracted. Draper's case-now, screen-later installation method allows the housing to be installed during rough-in construction before ceilings are closed. The screen assembly snaps into preset latching roller brackets when the space is ready for AV commissioning. The RF-welded tab-tensioning system maintains a consistently flat image plane, with tabs warranted for five years against separation. Optional Quiet Motor and LVC-IV Low Voltage Controller must be specified at time of order.
