Product Overview

The Draper Acumen V is a surface-mounted, tab-tensioned motorized projection screen engineered for permanent commercial AV installations that need a clean, self-contained case on the wall or above the ceiling. This 113" diagonal (60" x 96") 16:10 model is configured with the CineFlex CH1200V rear-projection surface, making it a fit for boardrooms, conference rooms, and broadcast environments built around rear-projection room designs. As a surface-mounted electric projection screen, it pairs an elegantly contoured aluminum housing with RF-welded tab tensioning for a flat, wrinkle-free image. All units ship through Creation Networks at authorized-dealer pricing with Draper's seven-year warranty.

Product Description

The Draper Acumen V motorized screen is built for integrators specifying a tab-tensioned electric screen where a low-profile, finished case matters as much as image flatness. The streamlined extruded aluminum case measures 7-1/8" high x 5-7/8" deep and ships in a white powder-coat finish as standard, with black available on request. This unit uses the CineFlex CH1200V surface, a neutral-grey rear-projection diffusing material with 1.2 gain and a 30° half-gain angle, suited to rear-projection setups driven by low-to-medium output projectors. The Series V design is tab-tensioned, using RF-welded tabs to hold the viewing surface flat across the full image width, which Draper rates up to 10' (305 cm) for this model. The image area is fully framed in black with a standard 12" black drop at the top of the viewing area, and the fascia is removable for direct access to the roller and motor during service. The screen ships with a built-in low-voltage controller and wall switch, and includes both floating wall-mount brackets and ceiling suspension brackets for flexible installation in commercial ceilings. This configuration is wired for 220 V operation. Pair it with a compatible unit from our commercial projectors and a bracket from our projector mounts and lifts collection to complete the system.
