Product Overview

The Draper Acumen E is a surface-mounted, free-hanging motorized projection screen built for permanent commercial AV installations. This 117" diagonal CinemaScope (2.39:1) model pairs the ClearSound White Weave XT900E acoustically transparent surface with a quiet tubular motor, making it a clean fit for conference rooms, boardrooms, and screening spaces that place loudspeakers behind the image plane. As an acoustically transparent motorized screen, it delivers a uniformly bright picture across a 180° viewing cone with 0.9 gain. All units ship through Creation Networks at authorized-dealer pricing with Draper's standard warranty.

Product Description

The Draper Acumen E surface-mounted motorized screen is engineered for integrators specifying a durable, low-profile electric screen for heavy commercial use. The screen retracts into a streamlined extruded-aluminum case measuring 7-1/8" high by 5-7/8" deep, finished in white powder coat as standard, so it blends into modern interiors when not in use. Floating wall and ceiling brackets are included as standard, allowing the case to be positioned on the wall or ceiling and adjusted during installation, and the removable fascia simplifies long-term service. A 4-wire tubular motor mounted inside the roller draws 1.1 amps, is instantly reversible and lifetime-lubricated, and includes an internal thermal overload protector and electric brake with factory-set limits. This 220 V unit ships with a built-in low-voltage controller and wall switch, and it integrates with third-party control systems for automated boardroom and conference room deployments. The ClearSound White Weave XT900E surface is an acoustically transparent woven material with over 76,000 microscopic openings per square foot, letting audio from behind-screen loudspeakers pass through with an average insertion loss of only 0.7 dB. This makes the CinemaScope format well suited to constant-image-height cinema layouts, briefing centers, and worship spaces where centered audio and a wide image both matter. Pair it with a compatible unit from our commercial projectors and a bracket from our projector mounts and lifts collection to complete the system.
