The 1.0 gain surface maintains standard brightness levels while delivering full acoustic transparency. The plenum-rated, UL-Listed housing fits standard above-ceiling construction without additional enclosures.
Product Description
The ClearSound NanoPerf XT1000V surface enables speaker-behind-screen (SBS) setups in commercial AV environments. By placing loudspeakers directly behind the screen, sound appears to originate from the screen itself—eliminating the perceptual disconnect between image and audio source that occurs with side-mounted or ceiling-mounted speakers. The NanoPerf micro-perforation pattern is engineered to maintain a 1.0 gain while minimizing acoustic coloration, with perforations small enough to remain visually imperceptible at normal viewing distances.
The Access V housing provides full ceiling recessing for complete screen concealment when retracted. Draper's case-now, screen-later installation method allows the housing to be set during rough-in construction; the screen assembly snaps into preset latching brackets and pin connectors when the space is ready for AV commissioning. The single-piece RF-welded tab-tensioning system maintains a consistently flat image plane, and tabs are warranted for five years against separation.
