Product Overview

The Draper Access V with CineFlex White XT700V surface is a motorized, ceiling-recessed tab-tensioned projection screen designed for commercial AV installations requiring full ceiling concealment and a wide viewing cone. The CineFlex White XT700V surface delivers a 0.7 gain with a wider viewing angle than higher-gain alternatives—well-suited for large conference rooms, multi-purpose halls, and training facilities where viewers are seated across a wide horizontal spread and uniform brightness across all seating positions is a priority over peak brightness. The plenum-rated, UL-Listed housing fits standard above-ceiling spaces without additional enclosures.

Product Description

Draper Access V Motorized Ceiling-Recessed Projection Screen CineFlex White XT700V

The CineFlex White XT700V is Draper's wide-angle, low-gain viewing surface for the Access V ceiling-recessed series. With a 0.7 gain, it is the lowest-gain surface in the Access V lineup—making it optimal for large meeting spaces, auditoriums, and multipurpose rooms where audiences are spread across a wide arc. The lower gain reduces hotspot brightness at center while maintaining consistent illumination for off-axis viewers, providing a more uniform image experience in wide rooms.

The Access V housing provides full ceiling recessing, hiding the screen completely when not in use. This is appropriate for executive and institutional spaces where an unobstructed ceiling is important when the room is not in presentation mode. The bottom flange trims the ceiling opening cleanly without additional millwork, and the motor-in-roller design keeps all mechanical components inside the housing for a clean installation.

Draper's case-now, screen-later installation method allows the housing to be set during rough-in construction. The screen assembly—including the motor-in-roller unit and attached CineFlex White XT700V surface—is stored off-site and snapped into preset latching brackets and pin connectors once the space is ready for AV commissioning. This protects the viewing surface from job site damage and supports phased commercial installations.

The single-piece RF-welded tab-tensioning system maintains a flat, uniform image plane across the full width of the screen. Tabs are warranted for five years against separation. The optional Quiet Motor reduces operational noise in environments sensitive to mechanical sound. The optional LVC-IV Low Voltage Controller enables dry-contact integration with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Control4, and other building automation platforms. Both options must be specified at time of order. Custom sizes and 220V motor configurations are available.

Frequently Asked Questions

When is the CineFlex White XT700V the right surface choice?
It is best suited for large rooms with wide seating spreads where uniform brightness across all viewing positions matters more than peak center brightness. Its 0.7 gain and wide viewing angle outperform higher-gain surfaces in these environments.

Can the LVC-IV controller integrate with Crestron or Extron?
Yes. The LVC-IV Low Voltage Controller accepts dry-contact low-voltage inputs compatible with Crestron, Extron, AMX, Control4, and other building automation systems. Specify at time of order to have it built into the housing.

Is the Access V housing plenum-rated?
Yes. The case is UL Listed as Suitable for Use in Environmental Air Space, meeting plenum-rating requirements for commercial air-handling ceiling spaces.

What is the case-now, screen-later installation process?
The housing installs during rough-in construction before ceilings close. The screen assembly is stored off-site and snapped in later, protecting the CineFlex White XT700V surface from job site damage.

Are custom sizes available?
Yes. Contact Creation Networks for pricing on custom sizes and 220V motor configurations.

What warranty covers the Access V?
One-year warranty on materials and workmanship; five-year warranty on the RF-welded tab-tensioning system against separation.
