Product Overview
The Draper Access E is an electric, 94-inch ceiling-recessed projection screen built for concealed commercial AV installations. This 94" diagonal 16:10 model recesses into the ceiling and lowers a free-hanging surface finished with Draper's OptiView Matt White XT1000E, a unity-gain surface suited to conference rooms, huddle rooms, and boardrooms. Built on Draper's non-tensioned Series E platform, it maintains a flat image through the weight of the surface and a bottom dowel rather than tab-tensioning. This unit combines Draper's Quiet Motor with low-voltage LVC-IV control for quiet operation and control-system integration.
Product Description
The Draper Access E ceiling-recessed projection screen is specified by integrators who need a concealed 16:10 front-projection surface in a finished ceiling. As a ceiling-recessed motorized screen, the case installs into the ceiling with a trim flange so nothing is visible once the surface retracts. Because this is a Series E free-hanging screen, the viewing surface is non-tensioned and hangs flat under its own weight and the bottom dowel. The OptiView Matt White XT1000E surface is a smooth, non-embossed unity-gain (1.0) material with a panoramic 180° viewing cone and typical contrast, delivering accurate color across wide seating layouts in rooms where ambient light is controlled. The case can be mounted during construction and wired with quick-connect wiring so the viewing surface is added later to avoid job-site damage. A detachable bottom access panel opens for service and maintenance without removing the case, and sliding brackets on top of and inside the case allow alignment adjustment and accommodate different screen sizes. The white case is standard, with black available on request. This configuration pairs Draper's Quiet Motor with a low-voltage LVC-IV control interface, and 220V options are available for integration with third-party control systems such as Crestron and Control4. Pair it with a compatible unit from our commercial projectors collection and a bracket or lift from our projector mounts and lifts collection.
