Product Overview
The Draper Access E is a ceiling-recessed, electric projection screen configured here as a 137" 16:10 model with a quiet low-voltage motor and the Matt White XT1000E surface. This in-ceiling motorized projection screen conceals completely into the ceiling when retracted and lowers near-silently, making it well suited to boardrooms, lecture halls, and training rooms where motor noise during a session is a concern. The unity-gain Matt White surface delivers accurate color across a 180° viewing cone with a 72 1/2" x 116" viewable area. Supplied by Creation Networks at authorized-dealer pricing with Draper's 5-year warranty.
Product Description
The Draper Access E quiet-motor projection screen is engineered for integrators specifying a concealed, motorized image surface with near-silent operation in occupied commercial rooms. It is a free-hanging Series E (non-tensioned) screen: flatness is maintained by the weight of the viewing surface and a bottom dowel, and the screen drops from a recessed case that installs into a ceiling pocket with a trim flange for a finished appearance. This 137" 16:10 model provides a 72 1/2" x 116" image area and is supplied with the Matt White XT1000E surface, a smooth, non-embossed OptiView surface with 1.0 gain and a 180° viewing cone that is GREENGUARD Gold certified; alternate Access E surfaces are available on request. The case measures 7-3/8" high x 8-1/16" deep (19 cm x 20 cm) including the trim flange, ships white as standard with black available on request, and includes a detachable bottom access panel for service plus adjustable hoisting brackets for lifting during installation. Quick-connect wiring lets the case be installed early in the build and the screen added later. This unit is configured with a 110V quiet low-voltage motor, and low-voltage, video-interface, or third-party controls (including Crestron and Control4) can be built into the housing for below-ceiling access, so the screen ties cleanly into a room automation system. Pair it with a unit from our commercial projectors collection and a bracket from our projector mounts and lifts collection to complete the system, and browse the full Draper projection screen lineup for alternate sizes and surfaces.
