Product Overview
The ChamSys MagicQ Compact Mini Connect is a USB-powered lighting control surface that pairs physical playback hardware with the free MagicQ software running on Windows, macOS, or Linux. It delivers 10 fader playbacks, a dedicated Grand Master, and a direct DMX512 output supporting RDM in a portable chassis. An onboard network port outputs up to 64 universes of ArtNet and sACN, making this MagicQ lighting console suitable for shows of any size. The unit ships with a lightweight durable case and a USB-A to USB-C cable.
Product Description
The MagicQ Compact Mini Connect turns a laptop or desktop into a full lighting, media, and LED control center when connected to a USB 3.0 or higher port. Live show operation is handled from 10 playback faders with Flash, Go, and Select buttons, plus a dedicated Grand Master fader for overall intensity. The control surface drives one direct DMX512 output with RDM support, while the integrated network port distributes up to 64 universes over ArtNet and sACN to remote nodes. Within MagicQ, the system addresses up to 32,768 DMX channels and 32,768 fixtures, with capacity for 5,000 cues, 2,000 cue stacks, 5,000 groups, and 4,096 palettes.

Media playback is covered with support for up to 50 media server layers. A Kensington security lock slot allows the surface to be secured in fixed installations. Because the console runs the same MagicQ software as larger ChamSys consoles, it also serves as a cost-effective backup control surface for existing MagicQ rigs. The free MagicQ software is supported on Windows 8.1 or higher, macOS 10.13 or higher, and Linux.
