Product Overview
ChamSys GeNetix Network Passthrough Wall Plates provide a wall-mounted termination point for network cabling in permanent lighting and AV installations. Each plate combines a locking RJ45 Cat6A connector on the front with an internal IDC punchdown connector for the in-wall cable. The locking front connector keeps patch leads secure in high-traffic and touring environments. Plates are available to fit standard single gang U.S., E.U., and U.K. back boxes and ship with a black faceplate.
Product Description
The GeNetix Network Passthrough Wall Plate is an ancillary product in the ChamSys GeNetix networking range, intended for clean, durable network distribution at the wall. The front face presents a single locking RJ45 Cat6A connector, which retains the patch cable mechanically to prevent accidental disconnection during a show or event. Behind the plate, the structured cabling is terminated to an IDC punchdown connector, the standard method for permanent in-wall Cat6A runs. 
Cat6A rating supports Gigabit and higher network throughput, suitable for Art-Net and sACN lighting traffic as well as general AV networking. Because the plate is a passive passthrough, it requires no power or configuration and integrates into any standard structured cabling design. The single gang form factor fits common wall boxes, and three regional variants are offered to match local back box standards.
