The ChamSys GeNetix GS5D is a five-port DIN rail mountable unmanaged Gigabit PoE+ network switch built for Art-Net and sACN lighting networks. Product Description

The GeNetix GS5D is an unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch designed for fixed lighting and AV network installations where DIN rail mounting and PoE distribution are required. All five ports run at Gigabit speed, providing the bandwidth headroom needed for multi-universe Art-Net and sACN traffic. Ports 2 through 5 deliver PoE+ output, supporting both 802.3af and 802.3at in Modes A and B, which covers the majority of powered lighting nodes and network endpoints. When powered from a 48V external supply, each of the four PoE ports can source up to 30W, with a combined budget of 60W across the switch. The unit can itself be powered over PoE or from a 12-48V external supply, giving installers flexibility when planning power topology in a rack or distribution panel. Because the GS5D is unmanaged, it requires no configuration and starts passing traffic as soon as it is connected, which suits straightforward lighting network segments.
