Product Overview
The ChamSys GeNetix GN10P is a multipurpose DMX network node built for permanent installations, with 10 RDM DMX ports terminated on rear Phoenix screw terminal connectors. It distributes lighting data over Art-Net and sACN and adds Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene support. Each DMX port is configurable as input, output, or fallback, and dual network ports allow PoE or mains power. The node is configured from ChamSys consoles, its built-in web server, or the front-panel display and encoder.
Product Description
The GeNetix GN10P is the install-oriented version of the GN10, replacing standard DMX connectors with Phoenix screw terminals on the rear of the unit for secure, hard-wired distribution. It is a universal interface converting Art-Net and sACN network data to physical DMX and back, with all 10 RDM DMX ports independently set to input, output, or fallback. DMX timings are fully configurable, including refresh rate, break time, frame time, and MAB. Per-port merging supports HTP, LTP, lowest IP, and highest IP modes, and the node stores up to 10 user scenes recorded from incoming Art-Net or sACN data.

DMX Fallback wires fixtures in a loop across two ports so a single broken cable does not interrupt the universe. The GN10P carries LTC and MIDI ports that pass Timecode and MIDI notes to MagicQ systems over ChamNet, plus Art-Net timecode support. Connected to a MagicQ PC system over USB, it unlocks MagicQ PC Systems in Full Unlocked Mode as a DMX, Timecode, MIDI, and 10Scene gateway; used as an Art-Net or sACN node it unlocks up to 2 MagicQ instances. Power is supplied by PoE on Port 1 or the Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 line input, and a Kensington security lock fixing helps secure the unit.

Key Features
- Phoenix Screw Terminals — 10 RDM DMX ports terminate on rear screw terminals for secure install wiring.

- Art-Net and sACN — Supports Art-Net V1 to V4 and sACN with per-universe priorities.
- DMX Fallback — Loop fixtures across two ports for redundancy against cable failure.
- Per-Port Merging — HTP, LTP, lowest IP, and highest IP merge modes per port.
- Timecode and MIDI — LTC and MIDI ports pass Timecode and MIDI notes to MagicQ over ChamNet.
- 10Scene Gateway — Dedicated 10Scene port with scene recall for wall-plate control.
- Scene Storage — Stores 10 user scenes recordable from incoming Art-Net or sACN data.
- Flexible Power — PoE on Port 1 or Neutrik powerCON TRUE1 mains input, 110 to 240 VAC.
- MagicQ Unlock — Full Unlocked Mode over USB, or up to 2 MagicQ instances over the network.
Typical Applications
