ChamSys GeNetix DMX Passthrough Wall Plates provide a clean, wall-mounted DMX termination point for permanent lighting installations. The range covers single or dual port configurations with male or female 5-pin connectors, in versions to fit standard single gang U.S., E.U., and U.K. back boxes. Every plate uses a locking 5-pin DMX connector on the front and a screw terminal connector at the rear. All versions ship with a black metal faceplate and mounting screws.

Product Description

The GeNetix DMX Passthrough Wall Plate is an ancillary product in the ChamSys GeNetix range, designed to bring DMX cabling neatly to the wall in theatres, houses of worship, studios, and architectural installs. The front of each plate carries a locking 5-pin XLR-style DMX connector, which retains the cable mechanically and prevents accidental disconnection during operation. Behind the plate, the in-wall DMX cable lands on a 3-wire screw terminal connector, giving installers a secure, serviceable termination. The range is offered in single and dual port versions and in both male and female connector orientations, so a complete DMX run can be terminated with the correct gender at each end. The connector modules are individually swappable, which means a dual male and dual female plate can be reconfigured to create a mixed male and female plate if a project requires it. Plates are dimensioned to fit standard single gang back boxes in three regional formats, and all ship with a black metal faceplate and installation screws.
