Product Overview
The Shure UA400 is a 1/4 wave omnidirectional UHF replacement antenna covering 774 to 862 MHz, designed for use with Shure U4S, U4D, and UC4 wireless receivers operating in the UA frequency range. It attaches directly to the BNC antenna port on compatible receivers and provides a straightforward omnidirectional pickup pattern suited to installations where transmitters move through the pickup zone rather than staying in a fixed position relative to the antenna.
Product Description
The UA400 is a single replacement 1/4 wave UHF antenna for Shure wireless receivers operating in the 774 to 862 MHz frequency range. It is used in commercial AV and installed sound applications as a direct replacement for a damaged or missing factory antenna, or as part of an antenna distribution configuration when multiple antennas are required at different positions in the same system. The BNC connector mates directly with standard Shure receiver antenna ports. For installations where the receiver is rack-mounted and the antenna needs to be positioned remotely—such as on a wall, ceiling tile edge, or equipment stand—the UA400 can be used with the Shure UA505 mounting bracket (sold separately) for remote positioning away from the rack.

Key Features
- 1/4 Wave Omnidirectional Pattern — Provides 360-degree coverage around the antenna axis, suitable for environments where wireless transmitter users move throughout the room rather than staying in a fixed position relative to the receiver.
- 774–862 MHz Frequency Coverage — Covers the UA frequency range used by Shure U4S, U4D, and UC4 wireless receivers; verify receiver band compatibility before ordering.
- BNC Connector — Standard BNC connection mates directly with Shure wireless receiver antenna ports and is compatible with BNC-terminated coaxial extension cables for remote antenna placement.
- Direct Replacement Part — Serves as a replacement antenna for compatible receivers where the factory antenna has been damaged, lost, or requires relocation for improved RF coverage.
