The Sharp NP56ZL is a motorized ultra-long-throw zoom lens with a 3.95-7.51:1 throw ratio, compatible with the NP-PA1505UL, NP-PA1705UL, and XP-A201U-B professional installation projectors. This is the longest-throw lens in the NP5x series, designed for large-venue installations where the projector must be placed at extreme distances from the screen—such as projection booths at the rear of large auditoriums, balcony-mounted setups, or outdoor event staging. Motorized zoom, focus, and lens shift provide complete remote optical adjustment after installation.
Product Description
The NP56ZL extends the NP5x lens series beyond the NP55ZL (1.98-3.95:1), covering throw ratios that are approximately twice those of the NP55ZL. At 3.95-7.51:1, a projector with a 100-inch-wide screen can be positioned approximately 28.4 to 54.1 feet away. This positions the NP56ZL as the correct lens for large-venue rear-booth projection, stadium display, or any installation requiring extreme throw distance. The 1.9x zoom ratio allows meaningful adjustment within the range without repositioning the projector.
