The Sennheiser MZH 3042 is a 40cm dual-flex IS series gooseneck tube for use with ME 34, ME 35, and ME 36 capsule heads in Sennheiser's installed-sound gooseneck microphone system. The dual-flex design provides two independently flexible segments for greater positioning versatility than the single-flex MZH 3040, allowing the capsule to be aimed at a wider range of angles and heights. The MZH 3042 is the gooseneck tube used in the I42-C, I42-L, and I42-S IS series complete bundle systems.
Product Description
The MZH 3042 is the dual-flex variant of Sennheiser's standard 40cm IS series gooseneck, available as an individual component for custom installations, system expansions, or direct upgrade of single-flex installations requiring greater positioning flexibility. Two independently flexible segments allow the installer to create a wider range of tube shapes and capsule aiming configurations than is possible with a single-flex tube. This is particularly valuable in installations where speaker positions vary significantly from standard — due to table height variations, round table configurations, or when the microphone mount point is offset from the direct speaker position. The dual-flex tube holds its set shape once positioned and accepts the full range of ME capsule heads (ME 34, ME 35, ME 36) at the top. The base connector interfaces with MZT 30 flange and MZS 31 shockmount hardware. The MZH 3042 is the tube component in the I42-C, I42-L, and I42-S IS series complete bundles — select those pre-configured systems if capsule and mounting hardware are also required.
