Product Overview
The Renkus-Heinz TX81 is an externally powered 8-inch two-way point-source loudspeaker, built to order for permanent commercial installations needing compact, full-range coverage. It combines an 8-inch heavy-duty woofer and a 1-inch titanium HF driver on a rotatable Complex Conic waveguide, with a built-in passive crossover. As an install loudspeaker, it suits fills, delays, and distributed systems in conference rooms, boardrooms, and house-of-worship spaces.
Product Description
Every T Series loudspeaker is built to order in the Renkus-Heinz California factory to exacting standards of performance and durability. The TX81 features an 8-inch heavy-duty woofer and a 1-inch Extended Range titanium HF driver, with a 120° x 60° Complex Conic horn that rotates 90° for wide or deep rooms. A built-in crossover eliminates the need for a separate electronic crossover and bi-amplification. Connections are made through screw terminals and looping 4-pin Neutrik Speakon-style connectors. The TX81 can be field-upgraded to a self-powered TA81 using a Renkus-Heinz SA625 amplifier module. Twelve-point Universal Mounting Hardware supports flown, bracket, and discreet wall mounting.
