Many commercial and institutional facilities — including warehouses, convention centers, houses of worship, and open-plan offices — feature unistrut or structural truss ceilings rather than a solid ceiling surface. The ACC550 bridges that gap, providing a secure and properly rated mounting point for Peerless-AV extension column systems in these environments.
The adapter is constructed from heavy-gauge cold-rolled steel, providing the structural integrity necessary to support full display and projector mount assemblies. It is compatible with the full range of Peerless-AV EXT006 through EXT110 fixed columns, as well as ADJ006009 through ADJ1012 adjustable columns with 1.5- to 11.5-inch NPT pipe connections.
With a black powder-coat finish and a design that integrates directly into standard 1-5/8-inch unistrut channel, the ACC550 provides a professional, code-compliant mounting foundation for commercial AV installations requiring overhead equipment placement on non-standard ceiling structures.
