Product Description
The CMJ500R1 is built for integrators who need to deploy projector ceiling mounts efficiently in environments with suspended ceiling grids. Unlike heavier structural ceiling solutions, this plate installs above the ceiling tile plane using support cables, making it appropriate for conference rooms, classrooms, training spaces, and auditoriums where penetrating the structural ceiling is either impractical or undesirable.
A standout feature is the Kwik-Loc self-locking cable joiner system, which significantly reduces installation time compared to conventional tie-wire methods that require manual crimping or threading. The plate arrives pre-assembled, further reducing on-site setup steps. Variable positioning within the ceiling grid allows the integrator to fine-tune the projector's placement for correct throw distance and image centering without being locked to a fixed grid intersection point.
Two electrical outlet box knockouts are integrated into the plate for clean power and signal cable entry, avoiding surface cable runs along the ceiling grid.
