The Extron IN1608 xi MA 70 is an 8-input HDCP-compliant scaling presentation switcher with four HDMI inputs, two universal 15-pin HD inputs, two DTP 330 inputs, an integrated 100 W mono 70 V Class D power amplifier with CDRS Ripple Suppression, dual HDMI outputs, and a DTP/HDBaseT output — in a 2U rack unit. Product Description
The IN1608 xi MA 70 routes eight inputs — four local HDMI, two universal 15-pin HD (configurable for RGB, HDTV, component, S-video, or composite), and two DTP 330 remote inputs on RJ-45 — to three simultaneous outputs: two local HDMI and one DTP or HDBaseT (configurable). The DTP output extends HDMI, analog audio, RS-232, and IR signals up to 330 feet over shielded CATx to DTP receivers and remote displays; it also powers select DTP endpoints over the same cable.
The scaling engine delivers 30-bit precision processing with motion-adaptive deinterlacing up to 1080i, selectable FILL/FOLLOW aspect ratio modes, and Auto-Image. Eight-input audio switching, two mic/line inputs with 48V phantom power, mic ducking, HDMI audio embedding/de-embedding, and audio breakaway provide comprehensive audio integration. The 100 W mono 70 V Class D amplifier includes a 100 Hz high-pass filter, auto clip limiter, and CDRS ripple suppression for clean audio to 70V distributed speaker systems.
