The DBX DI1 active direct box delivers high-quality impedance conversion and balanced XLR output for guitars, bass amplifiers, keyboards, and other instrument-level sources in live sound and studio recording environments. Powered by phantom power or a 9V battery, the DI1 active direct injection box provides a reliable balanced signal path free from ground-loop hum and noise pickup.
Product Description
The DBX DI1 is a compact active DI box built for professional use on stage and in the studio. Its metal chassis and gig-ready construction make it suitable for touring applications where repeated use and transport are a concern. The DI1 accepts a 1/4" TS or XLR input, delivers a balanced XLR output to the mixing console, and includes a signal pass-through connector so the instrument can continue feeding an amplifier simultaneously. An attenuation control allows the input level to be adjusted across a wide range - up to +52dBu at the -40dB attenuation setting - accommodating everything from passive instrument pickups to line-level keyboard outputs. The ground lift switch resolves hum and buzz from ground loops without interrupting signal flow. Visual battery and phantom power LED indicators confirm operating status at a glance. The DI1 is available at Creation Networks for live sound and installation applications.
