Product Overview
The Biamp Devio DCM-1 is a Beamtracking pendant ceiling microphone with three 120-degree zones, providing full 360-degree coverage of the meeting space. It actively tracks and intelligently mixes conversations from around the table for a natural far-end experience. This makes it a strong fit as a ceiling conference microphone, a Beamtracking pendant microphone, and a Devio meeting room microphone. The DCM-1 is available in white.
Product Description
The DCM-1 microphone actively tracks and intelligently mixes conversations from around the table, allowing far-end conference participants to experience the conversation naturally. It offers four software-selectable elevation angle modes for optimal sound pickup, and a second DCM-1 can be added to the room if needed. The microphone uses an 8-element digital array with active beamformed pickup and a 150 Hz to 16 kHz frequency response. It is phantom powered from its plenum box, mounts with a user-adjustable height, and is available in white or black. An optional tile bridge mounting accessory is available. Installation is a single-cable process, and an additional RJ-45 supports daisy-chaining to another DCM-1 (maximum two mics per chain). The DCM-1 is evaluated to the requirements of UL 2043 and is suitable for use in air handling spaces.
