The Audio-Technica PRO49QL is a cardioid condenser quick-mount gooseneck microphone for lecterns, podiums, and conference tables. Its flat, smooth response and self-contained electronics make it a straightforward gooseneck microphone for commercial AV speech reinforcement. The long gooseneck positions the element near the talker while the base mounts into a standard XLRF surface or cable connector.
Product Description
The PRO49QL is designed for fixed-placement speech pickup at lecterns and meeting tables, where a discreet, repeatable mic position matters. Its cardioid pattern focuses on the talker and rejects off-axis sound to improve gain-before-feedback.
A quiet, long-life gooseneck holds position without drifting, and the wide-range condenser element with a low-mass diaphragm captures clear, natural speech. Self-contained electronics let it plug directly into any standard XLRF-type surface or cable connector with phantom power.
The QL version provides an extended gooseneck length of 418 mm (16.46″) for taller placement. For overhead choir and ensemble pickup, the PRO45 hanging microphone shares the ProPoint design approach.
