Product Overview
The ZeeVee Z4KHDMIENCC3 is a ZyPer4K SDVoE copper encoder with dual HDMI 2.0 input and a single HDMI loop-out for local monitoring, distributing uncompressed 4KP60 4:4:4 video over a 10GbE copper network. Designed for commercial AV-over-IP installations where source signals must simultaneously feed a local display and the distribution network, this HDMI loop-out encoder eliminates the need for a separate signal splitter at the source location. The unit integrates with the ZyPer Management Platform for centralized routing, video wall, and multiview management.
Product Description
The Z4KHDMIENCC3 provides a local HDMI loop-out output that passes the HDMI source signal to a monitor or display at the encoding location while simultaneously transmitting the stream across the ZyPer4K SDVoE network. This is essential in broadcast, production, and control room environments where operators need a local confidence monitor without inserting a separate distribution amplifier or HDMI splitter into the signal path. The encoder connects to the network via 10Gb RJ45 or SFP+ copper over Cat6a up to 100 meters. ZMP manages routing assignments, video wall configurations (up to 15x15), and multiview layouts (up to 19 sources). HDCP 2.2 and AES-128 encryption maintain content and network security. RS-232 (9-pin D-sub, 115.2 kbps) and IR (3.5mm) pass-through support control system integration. Power consumption is approximately 9W.
Key Features
- HDMI 2.0 Input with HDMI Loop-Out — Passes source signal to a local monitor while encoding for network distribution, eliminating the need for a separate splitter.
- Uncompressed 4KP60 4:4:4 — Full-bandwidth, zero-latency 4K video encoding over 10GbE copper.
- 10GbE Copper (Cat6a to 100m) — Connects to standard enterprise or AV network infrastructure.
- Video Wall: 15x15 — Supports large video wall arrays configured via ZMP.
- Multiview: 19 Sources — Aggregate up to 19 network sources on a single display.
- HDCP 2.2 + AES-128 — Content protection and encrypted network transport.
- RS-232 & IR Pass-Through — Routes control signals to source-side equipment.
- Analog Audio Output — Unbalanced stereo via 3.5mm for local audio monitoring.
- ~9W Power Draw — Efficient for high-density source-side deployments.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Does the HDMI loop-out affect the encoded network stream quality?
- No. The HDMI loop-out passes the source signal to a local display without processing or degrading the signal being encoded for network distribution. Both the loop-out and the network stream operate independently.
- Is the loop-out active at all times?
- The HDMI loop-out is a passive output of the source signal. Consult ZeeVee firmware documentation for any loop-out behavior variations in specific ZMP configurations.
- Does this encoder support USB?
- No. For USB 2.0 extension alongside the HDMI loop-out, select the Z4KHDMIENCC3U model.
- What is the maximum network cable distance?
- 100 meters over Cat6a copper. For longer distances, the fiber variants Z4KHDMIENCF3 or Z4KHDMIENCF3U support multimode fiber up to 300m.
- Is ZMP required for basic routing with this encoder?
- Yes. ZMP is required for all routing, video wall, and multiview configuration within the ZyPer4K SDVoE system. It runs on a dedicated server or VM.
