The JBL PD764i is a dual 8-inch, 2-way horn-loaded loudspeaker designed for professional audio environments that demand precise coverage, high output, and reliable performance. Built with JBL’s Precision Directivity™ technology, the PD764i produces consistent, high-impact sound reinforcement at throw distances beyond what single-driver speakers can achieve. A single module delivers over 104 dB SPL continuously at 50 meters, making it ideal for large venues, distributed systems, or as part of clustered arrays with other PD family speakers.

Engineered for superior audio fidelity, the PD764i features dual CMCD-82H 8-inch horn-loaded midrange drivers and dual 2432H 1.5-inch exit compression drivers. The IFS™ (Interference Free Summation) dual HF driver module eliminates destructive interference, increasing output by up to 6 dB. The coaxial mid/high-frequency module layout enhances mid-frequency arrayability while minimizing overall size, and pattern control is maintained down to 400 Hz.

This trapezoidal enclosure combines 18 mm and 16 mm birch plywood for structural rigidity and durability. The integrated rigging system allows for flexible array designs with 52 suspension points. For outdoor or extreme environments, the WRC/WRX version provides stainless steel hardware, three-layer grille protection, and an IP55 rating for full weather resistance. The PD764i supports custom DSP for Crown ITHD and IT4x3500HD amplifiers, ensuring optimal system tuning and maximum audio performance.
