The JBL AM7212/64 is a compact yet powerful 2-way loudspeaker designed to provide high-output, full-range sound reinforcement in professional environments. Built with JBL’s advanced 2262H Differential Drive® 12-inch low-frequency driver, featuring a dual 3-inch voice coil and dual magnetic gap, this system delivers remarkable efficiency, extended low-frequency response, and reduced distortion. The high frequencies are managed by the JBL 2432H compression driver, equipped with a 3-inch voice coil and 1.5-inch exit, ensuring smooth, accurate reproduction across its 60° x 40° coverage area.

The large-format Progressive Transition™ waveguide delivers excellent pattern control, maintaining consistent sound quality on and off-axis. This rotatable horn allows the AM7212/64 to be installed in either vertical or horizontal orientation, maximizing versatility for different venue layouts. With high-slope passive crossovers that minimize band overlap and a bi-amp/passive switchable design, system integrators can configure the loudspeaker to meet their precise requirements. FIR tuning presets further optimize frequency response and phase alignment, ensuring uniform coverage and superior sound clarity.

Crafted from 11-ply Finnish birch plywood with JBL’s rugged DuraFlex™ finish, the enclosure is built for demanding installations. Its trapezoidal design incorporates 15 M10 suspension points for secure rigging options, while a 14-gauge steel grille with acoustically transparent foam protects the drivers without compromising aesthetics. Rated for 600W continuous power handling in passive mode (2400W peak) and capable of generating SPLs up to 141 dB in bi-amp mode, the AM7212/64 is ideal for theaters, auditoriums, houses of worship, clubs, and sports facilities that require both power and precision.
