The Biamp EasyConnect MPX 100 is a 2x1 host switching device that lets a dedicated UC room such as a Microsoft Teams Room or Zoom Room support occasional bring-your-own-meeting sessions. When a laptop connects to the second input, the room AV peripherals automatically switch to the user device. Product Description
The MPX 100 is designed for conference rooms equipped with a dedicated UC room system from which users occasionally need an alternate UC platform. A laptop connects to the second MPX 100 input, and the device automatically switches away from the primary UC host and connects the user device to the room AV peripherals. The user launches the alternate UC meeting from the laptop and conducts it normally; when the user disconnects, the room peripherals return to the dedicated UC host. The MPX 100 provides USB and HDMI connectivity with no drivers required, mounts behind the display, and includes cables that run to the table. It offers passthrough to other Biamp AV solutions, allows firmware updates on connected Biamp devices, and is SageVue compatible. Extra USB ports support cameras, microphones, or touchscreens, and HDMI 2.0 supports displays up to 4K resolution.
