Barco EX Video Processor Event Master expansion unit - R9004776B
Add a 4K scaler matrix to your Master Processor installation with the Ex 4K Video Matrix Processor/Scaler from Barco. This chassis features two card slots for separately available cards of varying types to route a 4x4 or 8x8 matrix, depending on which cards are installed. The Ex works with separately available E2 and S3 Master Processors to extend and process your I/O by up to 328' feet. It can also be combined with additional Ex chassis to expand your matrix.
The chassis features Ethernet control and management using a Web UI, Event Master management software, or using the Master Controllers. The two slots are non-hot-swappable, and they support a variety of I/O cards such as 4K60 tri-combo input card the 4K60 tri-combo output card, DisplayPort 1.2 quad input or output cards, an expansion link card, HDMI 2.0 quad input or output cards, and an S3 VPU card.
By linking the Ex with other Event Master processors (E2 or S3-4K) you add input and output capacity, expanding the scaling and switching power of the entire system.
Barco Event Master expander is the most compact and affordable scaler currently available in the market. This modular extension expands the processing capabilities when linked to the Event Master system. It is ideal for a stage or front-of-house box that supports up to 100 meters over fiber extension. It provides flexibility in configuring systems with its modular I/O cards and software. Overall, Barco Ex presents an affordable scaler with stunning capabilities for live events.
