The UA400B covers the lower UHF band (470–752 MHz) used by Shure SLX and select ULX-series wireless receivers, distinguishing it from the UA400 which covers the higher 774–862 MHz range. AV integrators specifying or maintaining wireless systems in the lower UHF band should confirm receiver frequency range before ordering to ensure the correct antenna model is selected. The UA400B’s BNC connector mates directly with receiver antenna ports and is compatible with standard BNC coaxial extension cables for remote antenna placement when the receiver is rack-mounted and line-of-sight positioning requires the antenna to be repositioned on a wall, ceiling, or equipment stand. It can be paired with the Shure UA505 remote antenna bracket (sold separately) for clean off-rack mounting.
