The AW-RP150 builds on the operational feedback behind earlier Panasonic controllers, adding a large touch-panel monitor and a redesigned joystick for precise single-handed pan, tilt, and zoom. The touchscreen doubles as a confidence monitor through its 3G-SDI input, so an operator can view camera output and switch to menus or settings without a separate display. Touch focus with Focus-in-Red and peaking speeds critical focus, and the 4K crop frame function lets the operator define and fine-tune cropped regions on compatible cameras such as the AW-UE150. Preset memory stores up to 100 positions with recall by speed or time, and tracing memory records camera moves for repeatable shots. Connectivity includes a 3G-SDI active through output, five RS-422 serial ports, LAN with PoE+, and two GPIO/tally connectors, while an SD card slot clones scene and system files across multiple cameras to cut on-site setup time.
