The Blackmagic Design Smart Videohub CleanSwitch 12x12 is a 12×12 6G-SDI router with full resynchronization on every input, so it cleanly switches between sources even when they aren't perfectly timed or genlocked. It re-times all inputs automatically for glitch-free switching between crosspoints, and sources of different resolutions at the same frame rate can be output directly to air for smooth cuts-only production. Note that an IEC power cable is not included.

The Smart Videohub CleanSwitch 12x12 has all the features of the Smart Videohub 12x12 plus full resynchronization on every input. When you can't guarantee perfectly timed source signals but still need clean switching, the built-in resync re-times each input to ensure glitch-free transitions between router crosspoints. It provides twelve 6G-SDI inputs and twelve 6G-SDI outputs, auto-detecting and instantly switching between SD, HD, Ultra HD 4K, and DCI 4K, with SDI re-clocking on every input and support for 16 channels of embedded audio per SDI signal. Genlock with a reference input compatible with black burst and tri-sync keeps the router locked to a facility timing source. You can control it directly from the front panel — 12 buttons for local routing plus six buttons and a scroll wheel for the built-in LCD and video monitoring — or remotely over Ethernet using the included Videohub Control software (Mac/PC), the iPad control app, or a custom panel built with the free SDK. On-screen labels support Unicode for non-Roman character sets, and power-fail protection preserves and restores router connections instantly at power-on. The machined-aluminum 1 RU chassis runs on 90–240V AC (IEC cable required, not included).
