The Blackmagic Design Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is a handheld digital film camera with a full 4/3 (Four Thirds) HDR sensor, native 4096×2160 resolution, 13 stops of dynamic range, and dual native ISO to 25,600. It uses a Micro Four Thirds mount, records 10-bit ProRes and 12-bit RAW to SD, UHS-II, CFast 2.0, or external USB-C drives, and includes DaVinci Resolve Studio.
Product Description
The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K packs high-end imaging into a compact, affordable body suited to independent films, documentaries, travel, web video, weddings, corporate video, and more. Its full-size 4/3 sensor (18.96×10mm) is matched to MFT lenses, reducing crop factor for a wider field of view, and dual native ISO to 25,600 gives strong low-light performance. The Micro Four Thirds mount accepts a wide range of lenses and adapters (PL, C, EF, and others). A USB-C expansion port lets you record directly to the same external SSD or flash drive you edit from, eliminating file transfers. The large 5" touchscreen runs Blackmagic OS for tap-and-swipe control, on-screen overlays, and 3D LUTs. Audio includes built-in mics, a mini-XLR input with 48V phantom power, and a 3.5mm jack. The carbon-fiber polycarbonate body is light and durable, runs on standard LP-E6 batteries, and shoots 4K to 60 fps (windowed HD to 120 fps).
