The Extron AXI 22 AT is a quarter rack width audio interface for integrating two mic/line sources onto a
Easily Provide Local or Remote Connectivity into Audio Systems
The AXI 22 AT accepts two analog mic/line sources, and digitizes them at 24-bit for output via Dante. It is connected into a Dante network over Ethernet using standard IP networking protocols. This avoids the effort and expense of pulling long analog cables back to the AV rack. With its small, quarter rack form factor, the AXI 22 AT can be easily mounted under a desk, in a lectern, or in millwork, as well as in a rack.
For additional integration convenience, AXI 22 AT interfaces can be remotely powered via Power over Ethernet - PoE, using Extron XTP PI 100 or XTP PI 400 power injectors, network switches equipped with PoE, or midspan PoE injectors.
The AXI 22 AT can accept any two audio channels from the Dante network and deliver them through its two line level outputs. Two channels of high quality digital audio can be routed from local or remote systems via Dante, and converted to line level analog audio.
Dante Audio Networking
Dante enables audio system scalability over a local area network using standard Internet protocols. The family of Dante-enabled products from Extron work together as part of a complete networked audio system solution and integrate with other Dante-enabled products to create efficient, scalable system designs. They accommodate a wide range of audio routing needs in a variety of applications.
Setting up a network of Extron Dante-enabled products, including the AXI 22 AT, requires Dante Controller software. Dante Controller is used to easily assign an output from an AXI 22 AT to an input on a Dante-equipped device, such as the Extron
Features
- Two mic/line inputs insert audio onto a Dante® network — Each input accepts a balanced or unbalanced mic/line level signal on a captive screw connector and includes selectable 48 volt phantom power.
- Two line level outputs extract audio from a Dante network — Two channels of high quality digital audio can be routed from local or remote systems via Dante and converted to line level analog audio, provided as balanced or unbalanced signals on a captive screw connector.
- Dante audio networking provides a wide range of expansion options — Dante-equipped audio products, including the AXI 22 AT, provide scalability for creating larger audio systems over a local area network using standard Internet protocols.
- Dante Domain Manager and AES67 Support
- Studio grade 24-bit analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters with selectable sampling rates up to 96 kHz — Professional converters fully preserve the integrity of the original audio signal, with selectable sampling rates via Dante Controller.
- Input select, gain, and phantom power controls located on front panel and configurable via a Dante network — Settings can be modified from the front panel, SIS commands via USB, or through a DMP Plus Series DSP or IPCP Pro xi Series control processor over a Dante network.
- Power over Ethernet allows the AXI 22 AT to receive power over a single Ethernet cable, eliminating the need for a local power supply
-
Controllable via the Dante network —
- Network monitoring and control of gain and mute
- Control the AXI through a DMP Plus Series processor over a Dante network
- Via an IPCP Pro xi Series control processors with GCP drivers and DanteInterface Class in ControlScript, connected to a Dante network.
- 1U, quarter rack width metal enclosure — Compact, durable enclosure can be discreetly installed under a desk, in a lectern, in millwork, or in an AV equipment rack.
- Highly reliable, energy-efficient external universal power supply optional, part #70-1175-01 — Provides worldwide power compatibility with high reliability and low power consumption for reduced operating costs. Includes a ZipClip 50 Mounting Kit to securely mount an Extron power supply onto most surfaces, including tables and lecterns.
- TAA Compliant version available — Please inform your local Extron representative if your order requires compliance with TAA regulations.
