Vizrt lists a DC12V power supply as one of the two ways to power the PTZ3 PLUS and PTZ3 UHD PLUS, alongside PoE+. A spare adapter keeps a PTZ camera running where the network switch does not supply PoE+ or where a camera is moved between rooms.

How does the Vizrt PTZ3PSA12V-2A work?

Vizrt PTZ3 cameras accept power either over the network cable (PoE+, IEEE 802.3at) or from a DC12V power supply. The PTZ3PSA12V-2A is that DC supply. Per the part description it includes an EU mains cord; Vizrt ships the camera's in-box supply with UK, US, EU and Asia power cables, so confirm the cord set you need for a US install when ordering.

Integrators typically keep a DC adapter on hand for camera positions fed from a non-PoE switch port, for bench configuration before the network is live, and as a field spare for touring or portable rigs. It pairs with cameras such as the Vizrt PTZ3 UHD NDI camera and production systems like the TriCaster Mini.
