At 320mm in length, it is the shorter variant designed for tighter installations and applications where a smaller module size is preferred. The Sceptron XB offers improved brightness and resolution over previous Sceptron generations, making it ideal for modern video wall and scenic LED applications. It is fully compatible with the VDO Sceptron XB accessory ecosystem for complete installation flexibility.

Product Description

The VDO Sceptron XB 320mm brings the latest advances in Martin's linear LED technology to a compact 320mm bar format. The fixture features a high pixel density that enables smooth, detailed video content reproduction on large scenic surfaces. Its rigid construction ensures consistent pixel pitch is maintained across multi-bar arrays, critical for seamless video wall performance. The Sceptron XB supports standard DMX and streaming Art-Net protocols for integration with professional video and lighting control systems. The 320mm length allows for flexible grid configurations and can be combined with the 1000mm variant for mixed-length arrays. Robust construction is suited to the mechanical demands of touring productions and permanent architectural installations. The slim profile allows the bar to be integrated into scenic elements with minimal visual intrusion. The VDO Sceptron XB 320mm is a versatile and powerful tool for creating high-impact LED video scenery.

Key Features

High-Density Pixel Array — Delivers detailed video content reproduction across scenic surfaces.

Compact 320mm Format — Ideal for tighter installations and flexible grid configurations.

Rigid Construction — Maintains consistent pixel pitch across multi-bar arrays.

DMX and Art-Net Support — Integrates with professional video and lighting control systems.

VDO Sceptron XB Ecosystem — Compatible with the full XB accessory range.

Touring and Installation Ready — Robust build for both road use and permanent deployment.

Typical Applications

LED video walls and scenic backdrops for concert touring

Broadcast studio cyclorama and backdrop lighting

Architectural facade linear LED installations

Corporate event scenic video elements

Theater and performing arts LED scenery

Theme park and entertainment venue LED displays

Technical Specifications

Specification

Value

Product Family

VDO Sceptron XB

Model

VDO Sceptron XB 320mm

Type

LED Video Linear Bar

Length

320mm

UPC

688705010663

SKU

MAR-90357901

Frequently Asked Questions

How does the Sceptron XB compare to the original Sceptron?

The Sceptron XB offers improved brightness and resolution over the previous Sceptron generation, with updated optics and electronics.

Can the 320mm and 1000mm variants be used together?

Yes, both lengths share the same mounting and accessory system for flexible mixed-length array configurations.

What control protocols are supported?

The VDO Sceptron XB supports DMX-512 and streaming Art-Net protocols.

Is this suitable for permanent architectural installation?

Yes, the robust construction is suitable for both touring and permanent installation environments.

What accessories are available for the Sceptron XB?

Consult the Martin VDO Sceptron XB accessory catalog for the full range of compatible mounting and installation accessories.

//cdn.shopify.com/s/files/1/0603/7982/4364/files/VDO_Sceptron_XB_x_large_b7ea977d-0f2d-45bf-ae2f-c17249f75a0c.webp?v=1782491117
