Paired with the PT-571HDCP transmitter, it converts the twisted pair signal back to DVI, reaching up to 70m (230ft) at 1080p@60Hz or up to 90m (295ft) at 1080i@60Hz over Kramer DGKat cable. It is a compact, HDCP-compliant way to run a DVI source to a display, projector or monitor across a boardroom, training room or presentation system.

How does the Kramer PT-572HDCP+ work?

The PT-571HDCP converts DVI to a twisted pair signal using Kramer DGKat technology, which carries TMDS video plus control and communication signals over a single twisted pair cable. The PT-572HDCP+ receives it on an RJ-45 connector and outputs DVI on a 24-pin female DVI connector, at up to 4.95Gbps (1.65Gbps per graphic channel).

EDID is passed between the source and the display, so the source selects a supported resolution. With the Kramer Power Connect system, one power supply at either the transmitter or the receiver powers both units when they are within 90m (270ft) of each other.

What are the key features of the Kramer PT-572HDCP+?

DGKat signal integration — Carries DVI, control and communication over twisted pair.

Up to 70m at 1080p — Or up to 90m at 1080i with Kramer DGKat cable.

HDCP compliant and HDTV compatible — Passes protected content to the display.

EDID pass-through — Passes EDID between the source and display.

Power Connect — One power supply at either end powers both units within 90m.

Ultra-compact PicoTOOLS enclosure — Four units fit side by side in 1U with a rack adapter.

Technical Specifications

<colgroup>
<col style="width:40%">
<col style="width:60%">
</colgroup>

Input

1 DGKat twisted pair on RJ-45

Output

1 DVI on a 24-pin female DVI connector; DDC 5Vpp (TTL)

Max data rate

4.95Gbps (1.65Gbps per graphic channel)

Range

70m (230ft) at 1080p@60Hz; 90m (295ft) at 1080i@60Hz with Kramer DGKat cable

Power

12V DC, 250mA

Enclosure

PicoTOOLS

Dimensions

6.22 x 5.18 x 2.44cm (2.45 x 2.04 x 0.96in) W, D, H

Weight

0.1kg (0.2lbs) approx.

Included

Power supply, mounting bracket

Pair this receiver with the Kramer PT-571HDCP DVI transmitter.
