kramer-50-00010390-tp-752t
Kramer TP-752T – HDMI Ultra-Reach Transmitter over 2-Wire Cable

What is the Kramer TP-752T transmitter?

The Kramer TP-752T is an HDMI ultra-reach transmitter that sends 1080p HDMI signals up to 600m (2000ft) over any 2-wire cable. It outputs on a terminal block, an RJ-45 (CAT) connector or a 15-pin HD (VGA) connector, so legacy and long-distance cable runs can carry HDMI without new infrastructure. It is a long-distance HDMI extender transmitter for campuses, stadium-style venues and retrofit installations.

How does the Kramer TP-752T work?

The TP-752T takes an HDMI source and sends the 1080p signal, along with bidirectional RS-232, to the Kramer TP-752R receiver over a 2-wire link. Installers choose the connector that matches existing cabling: a 2-pin terminal block for common 2-wire cable, RJ-45 for typical long CAT runs, or a 15-pin HD connector to reuse legacy VGA cable.

An active, reclocking HDMI loop output lets the signal feed a local monitor or cascade to additional extenders or distributors. Bidirectional RS-232 extension lets a control system reach the display from the source end, or the source from the display end. No setup is required, and the compact fan-less MegaTOOLS enclosure surface mounts or fits two side-by-side in 1U with a rack adapter such as the Kramer RK-T2B-B MegaTOOLS rack adapter.

For 4K60 over CAT, the Kramer TP-580T HDBaseT transmitter is an alternative.

What are the key features of the Kramer TP-752T?

Ultra-long reach — Sends 1080p HDMI up to 600m (2000ft).

Any 2-wire cable — Works over 2-wire, CAT or legacy VGA cabling.

Three connector options — Terminal block, RJ-45 or 15-pin HD output.

HDMI loop output — Active, reclocking loop for local monitoring or cascading.

Bidirectional RS-232 — Control devices from either end of the link.

Plug-and-play — No setup or user configuration required.

MegaTOOLS enclosure — Fan-less, surface or rack mountable two per 1U.

Where is the Kramer TP-752T typically used?

Auditorium

House of worship

Government space

Multi-purpose room

Technical Specifications

<colgroup>
<col style="width:38%">
<col style="width:62%">
</colgroup>

Inputs

1 HDMI with loop (female HDMI connectors)

Output

1 2-wire extra-range HD signal on RJ-45, 15-pin HD or 2-pin terminal block

Ports

RS-232 (9-pin D-sub) for serial link extension

Max Resolution

1080p60

Content Protection

HDCP 1.4

Extension Distance

Up to 600m (2000ft) at 1080p60

Enclosure

MegaTOOLS, fan-less

Weight

1.0 lbs (0.5 kg) approx.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which receiver pairs with the TP-752T?

The Kramer TP-752R ultra-reach receiver.

Can I reuse old VGA cable runs?

Yes.
