kramer-20-80498090-vs-21dt
Kramer VS-21DT – 2x1 4K60 HDMI Auto Switcher over HDBaseT

What is the Kramer VS-21DT auto switcher?

The Kramer VS-21DT is a 2x1 4K60 4:2:0 HDMI automatic switcher with an HDBaseT output. It switches between two HDMI sources using priority or last-connected rules based on active signal detection, and sends the selected signal over HDBaseT up to 40m at 4K60 4:2:0. It is a compact HDMI to HDBaseT auto switcher for classrooms, huddle rooms and training rooms where the display or projector is across the room.

How does the Kramer VS-21DT work?

Two HDMI sources connect to the VS-21DT. When a source becomes active, the switcher selects it according to the chosen scheme, either input priority or last connected, and outputs it on the HDBaseT 1.0 port to a compatible HDBaseT receiver at the display. This combines a switcher and transmitter in one device, which reduces equipment at the table.

The VS-21DT handles up to 4K@60Hz 4:2:0 at 8.91Gbps and is HDCP 2.2 compliant; Kramer notes it does not convert HDCP 2.2 content to HDCP 1.4. Kramer equalization and re-klocking technology rebuilds the digital signal, and 3D pass-through is supported. It runs on 5V DC.

At the display, pair it with a compatible receiver such as the Kramer TP-580R HDBaseT receiver.
