It includes an external frame kit and one filter, and it improves filtration and airflow when Griffyn projectors operate in dusty or dirty conditions. It is aimed at arena, touring and attraction installs where airborne contaminants are a real risk to the optics.

What does the Christie 163-196107-01 do?

The kit adds a filter to the projector's bottom air path so dust and dirt are trapped before they reach the optical system. Christie notes the filter can significantly reduce contaminants reaching the optics, protecting image quality on high-brightness native 4K projectors.

Christie lists the bottom kit for the Christie Griffyn 4K35-RGB and Griffyn 4K50-RGB.
