Content can be built on a timeline or run from the Playlist feature, which plays media files back to back without programming separate timeline containers. Each output supports EDID management, and Mosaic mode lets several outputs act as one large canvas.

Any number of Compact Players can be controlled and synchronized over the network from Pandoras Box Manager, so a multi-screen installation stays frame-locked and can be updated centrally. Two Gigabit Ethernet ports, RS-232, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth tie the player into show control and building systems, and JavaScript control plus an interactive web browser support live and interactive content. For touch and sensor-driven exhibits, pair it with Pandoras Box Widget Designer.

What are the key features of the Christie Pandoras Box Compact Player PK3?

1.9TB SSD — PK3 Hardware Performance Kit storage.

4x HDMI 2.0 outputs — licensed from hardware-only up to four outputs.

NVIDIA Quadro GPU — professional rendering on server-grade hardware.

4 video layers, 2 sequences, unlimited graphics layers for layered compositing.

Playlist mode — back-to-back playback without timeline programming.

Network sync — unlimited players managed through Pandoras Box Manager.

EDID management and Mosaic mode on all outputs.

Compact half-rack chassis — about 4.4 lb (2 kg), built for 24/7 duty.

Where is the Christie Pandoras Box Compact Player PK3 typically used?

Digital signage networks

Museums and exhibits

Cruise ships and hospitality venues

Retail and corporate lobbies

Distributed playback nodes in larger Pandoras Box show systems

Technical Specifications

<colgroup>
<col style="width:38%;">
<col style="width:62%;">
</colgroup>

Part number

157-076104-01

Performance kit

PK3 — 1.9TB SSD

Video outputs

4x HDMI 2.0

Output options

No output (hardware only) or 1–4 outputs;
