It prepares the compact Qu-5 for fitting in a standard 19-inch equipment rack or flight case, turning the mixer into a rack-mounted digital mixer for installed AV systems, AV carts and touring racks.

What does the Allen & Heath QU-5-RK19 do?

The kit adds rack ears to the Qu-5 / Qu-5D chassis so the mixer can be secured in a standard rack rather than sitting on a table. In fixed installations this keeps the console in a defined, secure position alongside amplifiers, DSP and stage boxes, and in mobile rigs it lets the mixer travel inside a rack case ready to plug in. Allen & Heath lists the kit as QU-5-RK19/X on its Qu accessories page.

What are the key features of the Allen & Heath QU-5-RK19?

Made for Qu-5 / Qu-5D — Factory kit designed for the compact Qu frame.

Standard 19-inch fit — Mounts the mixer in standard equipment racks and rack cases.

Install and touring use — Keeps the console secure in fixed racks or mobile cases.

Genuine accessory — Supplied by Allen & Heath for its own mixer.

Technical Specifications

<colgroup>
<col style="width:40%">
<col style="width:60%">
</colgroup>

Part number

QU-5-RK19/X

Compatible mixers

Allen & Heath Qu-5, Qu-5D

Rack standard

19-inch

Related: QU-16-RK19 rack ear kit, AR2412 stage rack, and the full Allen & Heath collection.
